Beware of Water Hemlock!

Beware of the WATER HEMLOCK!  With the wet spring we had, water hemlock is growing and spreading quickly.  All parts of it are toxic to people and dogs.  It is really easy to spot; it is an airy, branching weed that grows to over 6 feet tall and has clusters of small white flowers at the end of each branch.  Where there is one there are usually many.  There are several large patches of it along the creek in the green belt north of the pool and tennis courts and probably some in the creek along Caley.  So, please familiarize yourself with this plant and keep kids and dogs away from it!
