Beavers Along Weaver – Possible Service Project
As many of you know, beavers have moved into the Dutch Creek area along the Dutch Creek trail. Some trees have already been gnawed upon just south of the bend in the street where W Weaver Ave becomes W Weaver Dr.
Perhaps you have a child who is a Scout or in another organization where service projects are encouraged. If so, “caging” the tree trunks might qualify as well as help save some trees!
Please let the Board know if you/your child are willing to do this. Jeffco Open Space and maybe Foothills Parks & Recreation may need to be contacted for permission and/or support.
