Pool Update – August 26, 2020

It’s now apparent that we will not be able to open the pool at all this season. A number of residents have expressed a desire to receive a reimbursement of the part of the HOA dues that would normally go towards the pool. The board has decided that the best way to handle this is to give every homeowner a credit on next year’s dues. Be advised that money has already been spent prepping the pool for an anticipated opening and keeping it maintained during that time in June when we expected to get guidance from the govenor’s office that would allow us to open. We’ve also continued to mow the pool area. Additional money will be spent to drain and winterize the pool and bathrooms, but this can’t be done until the sprinklers are turned off. So we won’t know exactly what the reimbursement amount will be until later this fall. When we know what that amount is we will post it on the website.
